What We're About

Heart For Families

Heart For Families is a grassroots, single person effort to send support to the Philippines to hungry folks in my community.  I have been doing this on my own for years by working two to four jobs. Yes, I am married, have two children and live in the United States. Although I live comfortably compared to the many that still live in need back home in my small community, my soul is not at peace just sitting back and  not trying to make their lives a little bit better. That's why I do what I do. One day, I was getting so exhausted but I knew quitting was not an option. I prayed to the Lord. I needed help. People around me were just not able to help.  To my surprise, my cousin through marriage, Bishop Dr. Terry Criner of Holy Tabernacle Outreach Mission, Inc. in Las Vegas, Nevada heard my story and was eager to help!  He and the church jumped in right away with donations.  They want to get the word out and invite as many people to help them help us. 

Our Goals

Your donations will go to the Philippines relief effort to ensure that essential items such as rice and other dry goods are shipped. Also, I've been including writing and other school supplies--even treats like chocolate. There is much more that needs to be done, but this is all I have been able to do working on my own.  But I am so encourage now. You can't image the joy!

Our History

Our history, I believe is just beginning. I was on my on. Struggling to do what was right in my heart. It has been difficult. But, now God is writing a new chapter for Heart For Families, for the folks back home, for TWC International, you and me.  I just know we are all blessed because of what we are partnering on in our little corner of history.
